In The Elder Scrolls Online he appears as The Prophet, “a mysterious blind man who guides the player through their journey to retrieve their soul.” Michael Gambon – Michael Gambon will forever be known as the guy who took over for the late, great Richard Harris in the role of Harry Potter’s Professor Dumbledore from the third movie onward.She’ll reprise the latter role for her Elder Scrolls Online appearance. Alfred Molina famously played Spidey’s arch-enemy in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 2, a role which helps us forget that he also appeared in 2010’s disastrous video game adaptation, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time.She’ll lend her voice to the role of Queen Ayrenn, leader of the Aldmeri Dominion and Queen of the High Elves “who is far more comfortable with a blade than her crown.” Kate Beckinsdale – Beckinsale has appeared in everything from Shakespearean films to sci-fi franchises but this is her first video game.In Elder Scrolls Online Nighy takes the role of High King Emeric, “a merchant prince whose luck and determination won him the throne.” He went on to take key roles in the Pirates of the Caribbean and Harry Potter series’, but one of our favorites will always be his take on Slartibartfast in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Bill Nighy – A professional actor since the early ’80s, Bill Nighy didn’t fully penetrate the geek culture consciousness until later in his career, with back-to-back performances in Underworld and Shaun of the Dead grabbing him some attention. He appears in Elder Scrolls Online as Cadwell, “the cheerful and endearingly mad lost soul who is not afraid of anyone, even a Daedric Prince.” He earned an Academy Award nomination for his writing on A Fish Call Wanda, he’s appeared in geek-friendly series’ like The Simpsons and Harry Potter, and he’s lent his voice to an assortment of video games, most recently Fable III.
